I was coming from outstation and it was 2AM at Uppal-Hyderabad. You can not expect public transport at that time. I need to go to Secunderabad station. No autos at least. I stood there for a while and I was really on my _ss. Situation is really annoying me. I found a Mazda truck stopping for a distance. I ran to the vehicle and asked for lift. Driver accepted to give lift without any other word. I just got in and sat. He tuned FM radio on, there was some Hindi song “Mere Nasib Mein Aye Dost..” Did he really come for my help? No words between us for next 20 Minutes, I was listening the song and just thinking of my experiences. I thanked him sincerely and got down at Secunderabad.
When I get late to home from office I see lot of people waiting for buses and autos at bus stops. Some raise hands for lift. When it is post 9PM and good mood, I give lift to those who were asking. I drop them somewhere on the way to my home. After 9 PM every one is eager to go home and any small hope can give them real help. Does it really paid of last night? May be yes. I did not expect anything from them. Some people ask if I can take them closer to their destination. Some just get down where I stop my vehicle. What ever good things we do, will reap a lot of satisfaction.
